Abstract

This article reviews the current state of the techniques and methods used in examination and data gathering in ferrets. Examination, emergency support, zoonosis, and a review of 3 common disease states are included. Diseases discussed are pancreatic disease (insulinoma), adrenal disease, and lymphoma/lymphosarcoma. An overview of their signalment and current treatment options is included in the section that covers disease review.
